Desk Copies

Douglas & McIntyre is pleased to supply a desk copy for any adopted text where a minimum of 20 copies have been ordered from a Canadian distributor or wholesaler by the university or college bookstore

Desk copies will not be shipped until your bookstore’s order has been placed with our distributor or one of our wholesalers —We cannot provide desk copies if your institution orders from a source outside of Canada. Desk copies will only be shipped to you at the address of your institution. We require a minimum of 2 weeks for processing & shipping. Please submit your request using the online form below to ensure prompt processing.

Print on Demand

In an effort to keep our books in print and available for course use, some of our backlist titles are available through Lightning Source Print on Demand for bookstores to order from Ingram . For course order assistance with our Print on Demand titles, please contact our sales department at , or call 604-254-7191.

Unfortunately, due to the high cost of production we are unable to provide desk or examination copies of Print on Demand titles. Instructors requiring desk copies should inquire with their school book store about ordering desk copies, or contact for online purchase options.

Examination Copies

Examination copies may be available to college or university professors to review for course adoption consideration. Requests for examination copies are reviewed on an individual basis. Examination copies will only be shipped to you at the address of your institution. Please submit your request using the online form below and write Examination Copy Request in the comments section to ensure prompt processing or email
