James R. Page is a photographer and writer who has published more than 1400 photos and 75 magazine articles. He taught the Nature and Wildlife course at the Western Academy of Photography for 12 years and was a features writer and photo columnist for Explore magazine. He was the principal photographer for Candace Savage’s award-winning Prairie: A Natural History. He lives on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
