Francine D’Amour lives in Laval, Quebec, where she teaches literature at Montmorency College. D’Amour’s novel, Presque rien, won the Prix Québec-Paris in 1997. Her first novel, Les Dimanches sont mortels, won the Prix de l’Académie des lettres du Québec in 1988.
