J.R. Jowsey

James R. Jowsey received a Ph.D. in Agricultural Chemistry from McGill University in 1953, as well as a B.Ed., B.Sc. in Agriculture, and an M.Sc. from the University of Saskatchewan. In 1984 he retired from his position as a wildlife specialist with the Saskatchewan Department of Agriculture to live on a farm near Saltcoats, where his active interest in native plants continues.
