Claude Arbour swapped urban civilization for nature at its purest. In Choosing Wildness, he describes his personal journey from being a highschool dropout to becoming one of Quebec’s most respected ornithologists and avian conservationists, not only saving individual birds sent to him for reintroduction into the wild but also preserving a network of nesting sites in northern Quebec.
