Contest: Send in your videos and win a night at the Eco-Shed!Aug 19, 2008 James Glave, father, author and conflicted eco-activist, knows that going green isn’t easy. In fact, he’s written a whole book - Almost Green - about his efforts to raise a suburban family while trying to tread lightly on the planet. His main project: building an eco-shed on his Bowen Island property. His main challenge: finances. Creatively, he’s decided to rent out his very green, very beautiful little suite and is billing it as an environmentally friendly weekend getaway. His promo includes this video. Watch it, respond to it with your own video and let us know what challenges you’ve faced in going green. The best video will win a night’s stay at the famous eco-shed*, which you can check out here. Simply post your video response to James’ video here and provide the link to your video in the submission section on this webpage below. We’ll watch, rate, vote and pick a winner. *Greystone Books and James Glave will provide accommodation only. Contestants must find their own way over to Bowen Island.
