Greystone Books is delighted to announce that Charlotte Gillís Eating Dirt, published in partnership with the David Suzuki Foundation, has been nominated for the 2012 Non-Fiction Book of the Year Award by the Canadian Booksellers Association.
The CBA Libris Awards recognize and celebrate the achievements of those in the Canadian publishing industry who strive to create great books: the authors, the editors, the publishers, distributors, sales reps and the booksellers. By acknowledging their successes, CBA reinforces the idea that creating outstanding literature is a collaborative effort and that a vibrant, healthy book industry, and a well-served community of book consumers can only be achieved through working together.
The Awards reception and presentation takes place on Sunday, June 3rd, 2012 during CBAís National Conference in Toronto.Read more about Eating Dirt >>
