Freeman and Company and Douglas & McIntyre Educational, joined Greystone Books in 1995 and became Associate Publisher in 2002. She is the editor of such award-winning books such as David Suzuki: The Autobiography and British Columbia: A Natural History. She has taught in the Simon Fraser University Master of Publishing Program and frequently teaches editing in SFU’s writing and publishing programs. She has been the Past President of the Association of Book Publishers of British Columbia and the Editors' Association of Canada, and is currently on the executive council of the Association of Canadian Publishers. She was the winner of the 1988 Tom Fairley Award for Editorial Excellence for her work on Genethics: The Ethics of Engineering Life, by David Suzuki and Peter Knudtson. |
