Permission Requests

All materials published by D&M Publishers Inc. (including the imprints Douglas & McIntyre and Greystone Books) are protected under copyright law.

Written permission from the publisher is required to reproduce any part of these materials. For more information on copyright in Canada, please visit the Canadian Intellectual Property Office.

All permission requests must be submitted in writing and must include:

Title, author and ISBN of our book
Title, author and publisher of your publication
The material from our book you wish to reproduce
Format of your publication (hardcover, softcover, on-line, etc.)
Expected page count of your publication
Territory of distribution for your publication (U.S., North America, world, etc.)
Expected print run or audience size
Expected publication date
Price of your publication
Contact information

Requests may take from 2 to 6 weeks to process once we have all necessary information.
